BetterLesson Master Teacher
Genee’ Johnson is a married mother of 4 children and an 8th grade English teacher inspired to enhance learning through strong teacher relationships and integrating practical life skills/experiences into the classroom experience. Genee’ has served as the ELA department lead, Teacher Leader, Kansas City Teacher Ambassador, and member of the District Strategic Planning Committee. She also founded and managed the reading and educational program for the Kansas City Mayor’s Night Hoops education program. Most recently, Genee’ has begun guest lecturing and presenting on Culturally Relevant Teaching and Learning.
