Using Routines to Support All Learners with Kiddom

Focus Area: Kiddom
Attendees:

Instructional Coaches, Teachers

Phase: Targeted Support

Available July 2024

Overview

One of the ways IM Math 6-12 is designed to be accessible to all students is through embedded instructional routines that support language and mathematical thinking for all students. These routines are designed to become familiar structures in lessons so that students can focus on learning and collaborating with their peers. As part of the virtual launch series, this workshop allows participants to learn about these routines and how they can be introduced into their context.

Outcome

I use the curriculum resources and structures in Kiddom to teach math with a problem-based approach.
