Overview

Deep math learning comes from regular opportunities to reason and problem-solve with rich, quality math tasks. In this workshop, we will identify the characteristics of a rich math task and make plans to support students in accessing and persevering through that math task. We will explore the conditions and strategies that support students to engage in problem-solving for deeper learning and build a plan to promote and support reasoning and problem-solving.
