In this interactive workshop, we explore CASEL’s 5 competencies for developing social-emotional intelligence so that educators are present and responsive to academic and SEL outcomes, for all learners. In this experience, participants will define social-emotional learning and experiential social-emotional learning, explore how those principals play into teachers’ daily practice, and build a plan to integrate the 5 competencies into practice. The resources and activities are grounded in Kikori’s resources and platform.
