Scaffolds, equity, access, and relationships—this is how teachers meet diverse student needs and can best support students with disabilities or students receiving special education support. This workshop offers UDL principles to support every student but takes on a lens that lends itself to meeting the needs of a specific audience and the different learning modalities that teachers can use to support that audience.
This workshop is intended to support teachers and coaches in building the mindset, awareness, and action steps to address gaps stemming from unfinished learning. It can be modified for district and school leadership as well. The target audience for this workshop are individuals that work with and support students with disabilities and/or students receiving special education services.
