Flexible learning requires flexible assessment. Flexible assessments should be fair, authentic, formative, and useful in the classroom or online. Assessment can be a tool for learning, feedback and motivation. In this session, we build awareness around the challenges and potential of assessing progress, including the use of feedback from stakeholders, reviewing data from reliable tools, and more. The parallel need to assess progress with teachers and students can create synergy and data streams that together tells us how instruction is going, and what steps we can take to support teachers. This workshop is designed to guide participants in using data, assessment, and feedback from stakeholders to drive progress in student learning.
