Bryanna Costello is an elementary school teacher driven to give students academic and social-emotional skills needed to be the best version of themselves. Bryanna is currently teaching in Camden, New Jersey where she teaches third grade, celebrating her ninth year of classroom teaching. Outside of college and her Master of Education in Reading, Bryanna has also studied with The Institute for Social and Emotional Learning and Mindful Schools researching and exploring best practices in mindfulness and teaching through the lens of social-emotional experiences. This work empowers her to engage students (and herself) in social-emotional learning as a daily habit and reflection. Her work with SEL has enabled her to guide a strong classroom climate year after year that fosters personal and academic growth. After days in the classroom, Bryanna relaxes with books and movement and almost always has a second job.
