Doneen is a BetterLesson instructional coach who strives to assist and support others to improve the quality of teaching and learning within the community through indispensable learning opportunities that withstand the tests of time. She believes that learning does not occur only at school and it should not stop when students leave the classroom at the end of the school day. Doneen has gained experience as a school administrator, teacher, literacy coach, substitute, remediation teacher, tutor, mentor, and principal intern with administrative training through the North Carolina Principal Fellows program. She resides in Dallas, NC and enjoys giving back to the community through the work she does within the high-needs schools she spends her time with.
