Executive Coach, BetterLesson
Chad Carper is an executive coach with BetterLesson with over 34 years of experience at all three levels of K-12 education. Providing servant leadership as a teacher, coach, principal and district administrator Chad has moved schools to success by creating a positive school culture for learning and growth. Chad serves as an Executive Coach with BetterLesson and is a Director of Student Services for York School District One in York, South Carolina, As a Director of Student Services Chad has led the implementation of programs supporting SEL instruction and Mental Health for students and school staff. Chad was voted “Best of Gaston Principal of the Year” five times but his greatest award is seeing the success of his students in life. Chad received his BA in History from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro and his Masters in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University. Chad has four sons Taylor, Joshua, Noah and Matthew and is married to his high school sweet heart Jenny. Chad loves to travel, fish and spend quality time with his friends and family.
