Learning Architect for Curriculum and Academic Content - ELA/Literacy, BetterLesson
Alaina Mackell is an instructional leader in literacy with over 18 years of experience working with various populations of students and teachers within the public education system. During that time she has worn many hats including classroom teacher, instructional lead teacher, reading resource teacher, district instructional coach (Elementary, ELA), and assistant principal. Alaina joined BetterLesson in 2022 as the Manager of Learning Designer for Literacy and spearheaded the development of BetterLesson’s Student-Centered Literacy Focus Area.
