Implementing this problem-based curriculum with integrity requires making a significant shift from the traditional math instruction that many of us have experienced, both as learners and as teachers. In order to make the shift, school communities need to understand the goals and structure of the curriculum to build confidence in using the materials effectively. In the first session of this virtual launch series, participants will learn the characteristics of problem-based learning in math and how the curriculum lessons are structured to support this approach.
