Overview

Effective use of curriculum requires teachers to deeply understand it so that they can leverage their expertise to use the curriculum with intentionality. This launches teachers into beginning to understand how to utilize IM Math 6-12 in their classrooms with their students. The workshop will build an understanding of problem-based math instruction and the key characteristics of this curriculum that bring that approach alive.

This workshop can be made into a two-day experience where teachers begin to make concrete plans to introduce and plan the first few lessons of the school year.
