Overview

The 5 Practices for Orchestrating Productive Mathematical Discussions ask teachers to balance various student ideas along with the learning goals of a lesson in real time. To do this, teachers intentionally select and sequence student ideas to deepen learning for the whole class. In this 2-hour virtual workshop, teachers will unpack the final 3 practices of selecting, sequencing, and connecting, as well as reflect on their learning about all 5 Practices throughout the series.

This workshop can be taken as a stand alone or as part of a series that explores all 5 Practices. Explore all sessions of this series below:
