This course is part of our course series on some of the more common categories through which students can be eligible for special education services. In this course, you will build an understanding of how school teams identify students who may have specific learning disabilities (SLD), including some less-expected signs, common strengths and needs that students with SLD experience, and how to support students with SLD. This course is intended for general education teachers and special education teachers who may work with students with SLD. While this is part of the IDEA Eligibilities course series, it is not necessary to have taken other courses in the series to benefit from this one.
