This course is part of our course series on some of the more common categories through which students can be eligible for special education services. In this course, you will build an understanding of how school teams identify students who may have speech or language impairments (SLI), what SLI encompasses, services often provided to students with SLI, and some common practices teachers can use to support students with SLI. This course is intended for general education teachers and special education teachers who may work with students with SLI. While this is part of the IDEA Eligibilities course series, it is not necessary to have taken other courses in the series to benefit from this one.
